We are happy to announce a new edition of our yearly conference, EIMC-2026. It is scheduled as follows:

Programme:

Conference fee:

The participation fee is 80 Euros. Included in the price is a share of the venue rental, hot lunches, dinners with snacks, coffee & tea during the days. Participation is limited to approximately 30 people on a first-come, first-served basis. It is not possible to opt out of lunches and dinners, as we want to encourage informal interactions.

Application:

As the event will be held at the Athens Conservatoire, the local organising committee had to make arrangements with the conservatoire’s management. The Conservatoire requires you to register officially via an online form on their website, as they need to know exactly how many people they will be hosting and what the total budget will be.
Here is the link to this online registration form.

During the registration process, you will be asked to pay and upload proof of payment. The participation fee of €80 includes hot lunches provided by the conservatoire’s canteen, snacks for dinner, and coffee and tea throughout the days (note that the registration form mentions that only a hot meal is included). You can usually download the payment receipt via your banking app or your online banking account.

But, please, also send us an email if you want to register for EIMC-2026 (website of Athens Conservatoire).

Notes:

Please note that you will have to bring your instrument(s). One or more (grand) pianos and other big instruments like a double bass are present at the venue. We also encourage to bring small and/or percussion instruments, especially for the planned children's workshop (see draft programme in the attachment).

Please also note that you must provide your own housing and breakfast during this conference! You will find some links for accommodation in the draft programme.

The structure of the schedule is intentionally a bit open-ended. There is room for different, personal interests. Participants are invited to share and explore these with others in the group.

There is also an opportunity to give (short) workshops. You can present parts of your work. If you would like to propose an idea or workshop, please let us know so we can consider giving it a place in the programme.

We like personal contact and talking together in emails, so please feel free to contact us.
